SUSTAINABILITY AT 1144 FIFTEENTH

At 1144 Fifteenth, we are committed to promoting sustainability and minimizing our environmental impact. Our building utilizes a variety of waste management services to ensure that we are recycling, composting, and disposing of waste in the most responsible way possible.

RECYCLING

We partner with Waste Management of Denver for all our recycling needs. The recycling program does not require separation at the point of collection, and all recyclable materials can be co-mingled. These items are then sorted at an offsite facility to ensure proper recycling and maximum efficiency.

E-RECYCLING

For electronic waste, we partner with 3R Tech, a local and veteran-owned company, to offer year-round e-recycling services. Tenants can drop off their unwanted electronics at our loading dock, where a designated bin is available for safe disposal of electronic items.

COMPOSTING

For composting, we work with Scraps, a local vendor focused on organic waste. Currently, we compost all paper towels used in the building and are excited to expand our composting program as Denver’s regulations allow. We look forward to offering even more compostable waste streams in the future.

SPECIALTY RECYCLING EVENTS

To further promote sustainability, we host annual specialty recycling events on Earth Day every year. These events provide opportunities for tenants to recycle items that are not typically accepted in regular collection streams.
